Website Users may change their cookie settings at any time. In particular, these settings can be changed in such a way as to block the automatic placement of cookies in the web browser settings or to inform the User each time they are placed on the User’s device. Detailed information on cookie options is available in the software (web browser) settings.

Placing restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Website.

The entities placing and accessing cookies on the User’s end device are the National Library and Google.

 • maintaining the Website User’s session
 • changing the appearance of elements of the Website

Based on information obtained on the Website, the National Library may prepare summary statistics. These may be made available to third parties. Such lists, however, do not contain any data allowing the identification of individual users.
