When tramways go to sleep. Surrealistic exhibition, Olga Siemaszk

The National Library kindly invites all interested parties to visit an exhibition devoted to Olga Siemaszko – one of the most prominent Polish illustrators of the 20th century. The exposition demonstrates the unique imagination of the lady artist, her sensitivity and subtle elegance contained in every detail of works inspired by motives stemming from surrealistic visions.

The exhibition presents original drawings and paintings, mostly illustrations to classical books for children, such as, for example, Alicji w Krainie Czarów (Alice in Wonderland) by Lewis Carroll.

The exhibition opens on September 25, 2015 in the National Library’s reading rooms.
